Hands in Harmony

We provide Neurologic Music Therapy services in healthcare facilities including: hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, nursing homes and assisted living facilities, outpatient facilities, patient's home and our clinic. Services can be facilitated in-person or virtually. Research proves that Music Therapy can significantly increase attention, memory, cognitive function, quality of life, pain perception, and symptoms of psychosis.

Music therapy is the clinical and evidence-based use of music interactions to accomplish individualized goals within a therapeutic relationship by a credentialed professional who has completed an approved music therapy program. Essentially, music therapy is using music to accomplish non-music goals. Each session is individualized based upon the patient and family and caregiver needs, goals and objectives and preferences. Our Music Therapists are licensed through the Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH).
